Landscaping in the North East.

A good garden is built from the ground up, not the grass down. We spend as long on drainage, sub-bases and levels as we do on the surface you see, which is why our patios do not tilt three years later and our pergolas do not lean into the hedge.

What we cover.

Landscaping scope

Patios & Terraces

Porcelain, sandstone, travertine and limestone patios on a full-mortar base over a compacted sub-base. Flat, level, stays that way.

Driveways

Block paving, resin-bound and tarmac driveways. Proper 200mm sub-base, edge restraints and permeable drainage.

Pergolas & Structures

Timber, steel and aluminium pergolas, outdoor kitchens and pool houses. Integrated lighting and electrical supply handled.

Retaining Walls

Brick, block and sleeper retaining walls for sloping gardens. Drainage designed in so walls do not bulge in five years.

Water Features

Formal ponds, reflection pools, cascading features. Liner, filtration, pump and lighting all designed in from the start.

Fencing & Boundaries

Feather-edge, close-board, slatted screens and glazed balustrades. Concrete-set posts that stay plumb.

Common questions.

Landscaping FAQs
How long does a patio take to lay?
A 30m² porcelain patio typically takes 5 to 7 working days: dig, sub-base, mortar bed, slabs, jointing, clean-off. A larger scheme with drainage, lighting and steps stretches to 2 to 3 weeks.
Do you do full garden design and build?
Yes. We can work from your architect or garden designer, or design the scheme ourselves in-house. Levels, drainage, planting plans and lighting layouts included.
What about drainage on sloping gardens?
Sloping gardens in Newcastle and Durham almost always need French drains or soakaways. We design and install proper drainage as part of the build rather than patching it in afterwards.
Can you install outdoor lighting and sockets?
Yes. Part P-compliant exterior lighting, IP-rated sockets, weatherproof cabling, and integration with smart switches. Garden electrics should not be bolted on, they should be designed in.
